Michigan has an Offer in Compromise program that is tailored after the Federal OIC program.
Sales, withholding and Income tax can be paid using this program which requires a 20% down payment with the offer then the balance can be spread over 24 months. MI Treasury does prefer the offer to be paid in 5 monthly installments if possible.
